About Dr. Fitzgerald
Dr. Lynn Fitzgerald is a board-certified neurosurgeon. She served on the Baylor College of Medicine faculty as an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery in the Houston Medical Center from 1999-2004. Dr. Fitzgerald moved into private practice in Longview, Texas in 2005.
Dr. Fitzgerald completed a BA with Honors at Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania, and then attended medical school at the University of Illinois, Chicago. She graduated in 1993 from a joint program obtaining a doctorate of medicine and a doctorate of philosophy in pharmacology.
After matching at Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Fitzgerald spent 6 years in residency training in neurosurgery in Houston, Texas, before joining the Baylor faculty. She has published numerous articles on neurosurgical topics.
Dr. Fitzgerald has developed expertise in minimally invasive and computer assisted surgery. She specializes in returning patients quickly to normal activities.
Now I am glad to boast about how weak I am; I am glad to be a living demonstration of Christ's power, instead of showing off my own power and abilities.
